It's that time of year again: the time when the local supermarkets and grocery stores are stocked to the brim with pumpkins for fall. Many people enjoy carving pumpkins and using them as decorations, but rodents (like mice and rats) prefer nibbling on them. When pumpkins begin to rot, these little critters come in to taste the fruit. Squirrels and chipmunks may also come to sample your pumpkins, so you may want to take precautions.
